Collection: Shen Guoqing

Shen Guoqing, born on October 1 , 1959 in Donghai, Jiangsu Province, is a member of the China Artists Association, an academician of the China Ink Painting Research Institute, a specially appointed painter of the Jiangsu Provincial Academy of Chinese Painting, an academician and vice president of the Beijing World Chinese Painting and Calligraphy Academy, and a Chinese Cultural Ambassador to Laos.

Since childhood, he learned painting from the famous painter Mr. Xu Shan, the former director of the Fu Baoshi Memorial Hall. He conducted a systematic study of the creative methods and brush and ink techniques of ancient and modern masters. Adhering to Mr. Fu Baoshi's painting concepts and creative techniques, he boldly innovated and created a large number of landscape paintings. More than ten of his works won the highest awards and were selected in the National Chinese Painting Exhibition held by the China Artists Association. He twice won the Gold Award of the Jiangsu Province Five-Star Project. Many of his works are collected by art galleries and collectors.
